Setup PHP

apt-get install mysql-server php5-cgi php5-mysql php5-curl php5-cli

cp default-php-fastcgi /etc/default/php-fastcgi cp php-fastcgi /etc/init.d/

update-rc.d php-fastcgi defaults

Create MySQL user and database for openvbx

mysqladmin -u root -p create openvbx mysql --user=root --password

CREATE USER 'vbxuser'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'vbxpassword'; GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON openvbx.* to vbxuser@localhost;

mkdir -p /OpenVBX/config chown -R ws /OpenVBX

OpenVBX hack

in config.php, change line 346 to:

$config['cookie_domain'] = ($_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'] == 'localhost')? '' : $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'];
