General notes:

  • there is a lot of material here: some of it is about supported features/scenarios and should be added to manuals. Other is about troubleshooting/bugfixing/consultant work - that is operations that should not be attempted by customers alone. That part I would leave here for a lack of a better place. A few pages are developer-only material that should be moved to the GitHub Wiki
  • whenever a topic is covered in the manual, the corresponding Wiki page should be removed or replaced with a reference to the manual. We do not want to maintain outdated copies
  • below are my opinions, some include best-effort guesses about topics I am not too familiar with. Objections from others welcome, in the mean time you should have a solid list of to-do items to start from
  • contact me if anything is not clear

Thanks for this big, long overdue cleanup!

https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/BootstrapOnServer - only valid for traditional clients, covered by TID, remove
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/Browser - outdated, remove
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/CLient_Server_package_inconsistency - add to troubleshooting
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/CorruptRepoData - add to troubleshooting
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/Custom_channel_and_repo - check RM
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/DB_FAQ - all important and valid information that should be in the manual. Postgres only
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/DebugReposync - add to BP
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/Documentation_Packaging - move to repo README or GitHub Wiki
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/Errata_Parsing_CentOS - move to manuals but check contents with Red Hat experts

https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/Multiple_Admins - works as expected in 3.1, outdated, remove
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/SUSE_Manager/NewFeatures2.1/BareMetalProvisioning - should be in manuals
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/NewFeatures2.1/PackageEULA - should be in manuals
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/NewFeatures2.1/PackageLock - should be in manuals. Note it's for traditional clients only, not minions
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/Oracle_keepalive - remove
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/Osad_and_jabberd_troubleshooting - only "Open file count exceeded" is still relevant. Leave "Dumping XMPP network data for debugging purposes" in wiki, we point consultants here from bug reports when needed
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/Ports_Diagrams - we have port lists in tables and not graphical diagrams. I would personally keep tables because they are easier to maintain, your choice
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/PostgreSQL_limitations - outdated, remove
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/SUSE_Manager/PowerVM_virtualization_info_gathering - looks like developer-only information. Ask Franky and move to developers GitHub Wiki

https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/Register_Clones - add to manuals
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/Register_RedHat_minions - add to manuals
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/Register_RedHat_traditional_clients - add to manuals
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/Rotating_spacewalk-repo-sync_log - add this to AT
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/SaltClientfromTemplate - should be added to Register_Clones, it's just a special case
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/SaltPkgsetBeacon - internal implementation details. Manuals should just say that using zypper directly is not recommended but supported
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/Security_Firewall - just update the port lists if necessary
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/Server_Push - outdated, remove
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/Sizing_Scaling - outdated, remove

https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/SubscriptionCounting - outdated, remove

https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/Sync_RHEL_media - same as above
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/SystemGroupStates - should be added. Spacecmd can probably be used to get the GID, instead of guessing from urls
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/System_Activation_Keys - BP
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/TracebackMail-get_server_capability - outdated, remove
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/Tuning_Central_Config - outdated, remove
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/TypicalProblems - I like the idea but content is pretty outdated. I would remove for now

https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/migration_notes - to me this is consulting material, should be left in Wiki but not in manuals
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/reserved-channel-labels - list is outdated and will always be. Check with mc if we really want this or not
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/reserved-channel-names - see above
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/rhel-gpg-keys - AT. Seems still relevant. Check with Red Hat experts
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/rhel-minor-version - AT. Seems still relevant. Check with Red Hat experts
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/salt_state_and_ad - AT, but please check if this is a supported scenario first
https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/zypp_commands - looks like developer information to me, I would move to GitHub Wiki
